New Friend

Jonas couldn't believe his incredible luck to get a new friend for Valentine's Day. His name is Balloon and he likes to do everything that Jonas likes to do. Balloon likes to sit at the table and watch Jonas eat or watch Jonas play on the computer. Balloon likes to play with the alphabet letters with Jonas and watch Blue's Clues with Jonas. Balloon even wanted to go outside and play "Catch it to Me" with Jonas. But once they were outside, Jonas saw that Balloon was starting to wander off and, being the good friend that he is, Jonas corralled Balloon into the dog kennel so that Balloon would be safe...and still get to watch Jonas play. Jonas made up a new version of his favorite game "Catch It to Me!!" a few weeks ago. We took advantage of the sunshine and headed outside to play with a game Jonas got for Christmas and hadn't gotten to play with yet. It was immediately his new favorite game and he liked bossing his Dad around and informing Dad of all the rules....which he made up as he went along.

This is where Jonas yells: "Are you ready, DAD??"
